Oh sure, there are those internet sites that promise you to send you all of your college books for one fraction of the cost that you would pay in an ordinary store. Abebooks is the world's largest online marketplace for books, with over 70 million new, second-hand, rare, and out-of-print titles listed for sale by more than 13,000 independent booksellers from around the world.
Abebooks has millions of registered customers who collectively purchase more than 20,000 books a day from its 5 global websites (Abebooks.com, Abebooks.co.uk, Abebooks.de, Abebooks.fr and Iberlibro.com). A true internet success story, Abebooks.com has been selling books online since 1996, and is a private company based in Victoria, BC Canada, with offices in Düsseldorf, Germany. Of course, you can get some college text books cheap. My mathematics book cost me nothing at all, in fact, because my old roommate had taken that course the year before me.
The only thing better than getting college text books cheap, is getting them for nothing at all. I simply had to trade with him.
